The association was established in 1978. All faculty are designated by the Board of Governors pursuant to the Post-Secondary Learning Act and therefore are members of the Keyano College Faculty Association (KCFA). This group includes full-time permanent and project instructors. The association is the sole bargaining agent for all those designated employees.
Keyano College Faculty Association has various committee formed by the Volunteers from the members of the Faculty Association.
